          SAIL HAMPTON ROADS teaches sailing to youth ages 10-17 in order to broaden horizons, build self-esteem, develop teamwork skills and learn advanced sailing skills.
          The Center works with youth agencies such as Boys and Girls Clubs to identify potential sailors. Instructors are certified by the United States Sailing  Association . Using both keelboats and dinghies and structured curricula, we introduce youth to sailing with "Learn to Sail " classes, then continue to build their skills. 
          Since 1998, Hampton Roads Community Sailing Center has introduced over 800 children to the joys of sailing.
